Paliuli is fascinated by hula, the process of passing down oral history from kumu (teacher) to haumana (student), and the images that the dance, music and chanting, evoke.

"Hula Class" is the artist's tongue-in-cheek imagination of students, all in a row, being advised by their kumu to "Get ready" and "Not to be shy". Unframed, 30" X 21". Available from the artist for $800.00.
